The very famous (especially for a few weeks now, due to corporate events) microblogging platform known as Twitter, still at the center of gossip (regarding its attractiveness as a workplace if the acquisition by Elon Musk goes through ), has announced further news involving Spaces, or its live audio rooms.

Since Elon Musk has revealed his plan to acquire 100% of Twitter, the stances have multiplied in regard to the affair, which would see in any case (according to a survey by The Harris Poll) 59% of Americans are in favor. to its initiative: in particular, in a document forwarded to the control body known as the SEC (the American Consob), the platform envisaged a possible decline in overall productivity, should the acquisition by Musk be successful, given that there may be some difficulty on its part “in attracting and retaining key personnel and recruiting new employees”.

When declared to Fortune magazine by Daniel Zhao, economist and data analyst at Glassdoor, however, it seems to completely deny this scenario, given that, in the week from 24 to 30 of last April, compared to the March base, there was a more than 250% increase in clicks related to job offers at Twitter, as if to say that Musk may be nice or not, but in the meantime there are many who would like to work for him.

Close by, the person concerned, always very active on the blue canary, gave a clue on the ideal sectors to apply to work in Twitter, explaining that “all technical managers must be technically competent” and that, specifically, the platform will focus on “On rigorous software engineering, design, information security and server hardware”.

Meanwhile, the news for Spaces continues, a few hours after the previous announcements, and not too far from the launch of a test that, at the top of the tweet feed, places a sort of space bar within which users can find more details on a particular Space, including the topics it concerns, who is the host (ie who “hosts” it), who has shared a tweet, etc.

Specifically, the platform announced (soon available on iOS and Android) more analytical tools in favor of hosts and co-hosts, through the 3 bars icon next to the sharing one under the title of the Space: here you will find the duration total of the Space, the number of hosts and co-hosts (with the list of both made available to listeners after the broadcast so that they can follow them), the total of those who have tuned in to the live and (under the option “Play Recording”, under “View analysis”) the overall calculation of the reproductions of the recordings.
