Despite having revolutionized a significant part of his user experience by introducing keyword research within his private messages, DM, Twitter, the famous social microblog of the blue canary has already become the protagonist of two further innovations, including one related to Spaces, and a video game in the meantime – on the web – is heating up the debate on its too closed algorithms.

In the past few hours, Twitter has ended up at the center of a curious debate between the billionaire and philanthropist Elon Musk of Tesla, who thanks to his Starlink system has helped bring the internet back to Ukraine, and the cryptoartist PAK, author of several digital works of art. , as well as Archillect, an AI that deals with discovering and sharing engaging visual content on social media. Specifically, Elon Musk launched a survey on his official profile in which he asked if the Twitter algorithm should be open source, receiving as a response from the artist the counter-proposal according to which it would be better to focus on “a decentralized alternative ”(An idea advocated some time ago, as an alternative development path for the platform, by former Twitter CEO himself, Jack Dorsey).

Conceptual jokes aside, after having released the clips in favor of the recorded Spaces in tests, Twitter announced another novelty that relates to its audio chats borrowed from Clubhouse, represented by a complete system of statistics on the performance of its audio efforts spent in Spaces. This is taking place through a test involving some hosts who, through the icon of a graph, can analyze the performance of the Spaces in a broad way, for example by seeing information such as the duration of the Spaces, the replays of the same, the number of speakers, how many users have joined the Spaces, etc.

The hope of the new CEO Parag Agrawal staff is to provide a tool “to make Spaces a more meaningful element in your broader tweeting strategy”. Another initiative was officially announced from the social microblogging platform in question, but more in terms of content.

As is well known, a TV series will soon start on Paramount +, complete with a premiere, conceived as a film adaptation of the video game “Halo”, lasting 9 weeks: to celebrate the event, Twitter will accompany the broadcasts with live watch parties streaming, in which executive producer Kiki Wolfkill and cast members Olive Gray and Kate Kennedy will discuss the adaptation (eg its impact on gaming culture), show behind-the-scenes related to the realization of the project, and desert on “plans to future expansion ”of the series.
