At the height of a series of advances disseminated ad hoc by the brand, the Chinese brand Umidigi has formalized the debut on the market of its new battery phone, the Umidigi Power 7 Max, for sale in the colors Matte Silver, Hawaii Blue, Sunglow Gold, Starry Black and Galaxy Blue (although the company website only indicates Reed Gray, Atlantic Blue, Sunbeam Gold) starting from 203 euros on Aliexpress.

Umidigi Power 7 Max (75.68 x 168 x 8.7 mm, 207 grams) integrates a resolute 6.7-inch IPS LCD display in HD + (720 × 1650 pixels, 269 PPI) with a refresh rate of 60 Hz, depending on one aspect ratio at 20: 9. The water drop notch is the preferred stylistic choice to place the self-camera, from 16 megapixels (f / 2.2, without autofocus or Flash, with AI Face Unlock): on the right side, in the power button, there is the scanner for fingerprints while, on the left, there is a customizable key.

Behind, a rounded octagonal bumper houses a triple camera assisted by the dual LED Flash: a 48 megapixel main sensor (autofocus, f / 1.8, 1/2 “, 78 ° viewing angle, HDR, panorama, stabilized night mode , video at 1080p @ 30fps), an ultra-wide angle (120 °, distortion correction) 8 megapixel (f / 2.2), and a macro sensor (2.5 cm) from 5 megapixel (f / 2.4, angle of view of 80 °).

In the Umidigi Power 7 Max, the octacore processor (1.8 GHz) Unisoc T610, consisting of 2 Cortex-A75 performance cores and 6 Cortex-A55 cores, is combined with the PowerVR GE8300 GPU: the RAM, LPDDR4X, amounts to 6 GB, while the storage, eMMC 5.1, consists of 128 GB, expandable via microSD by another 256 GB, even if this would deprive the device of the possibility of using a second SIM. On the audio side, there is the FM radio that can also be used without earphones (which can be connected via 3.5 mm mini-jack).

Ready for 4G, animated by Android 11, the Umidigi Power 7 Max is equipped with connectivity such as GPS (BeiDou, Glonass, Galileo), Wi-Fi ac dual band (direct, display), Bluetooth 5.0, NFC (for Google Pay), the microUSB Type-C (OTG): the battery is 10,000 mAh, and can be quickly charged to 18W.
