During the event with which Vivo presented its first folding smartphone, the Chinese brand also fielded two other more traditional devices, including the Vivo X Note phablet and the Vivo Pad tablet.

The Vivo X Note varies its weight depending on the color chosen, with 216 grams in the case of the Gray variant and 221 grams for the Black one: in both cases, the weight balance guarantees excellent handling of the chassis, IP68 waterproof with the ‘Alert Slider. On the front, again with Display Mate’s A + rating, there is a 7-inch AMOLED E5 panel, curved at the edges, with LTPO for the refresh rate up to 120 Hz, a touch sampling at 240 Hz, the resolution QHD +, a panoramic ratio at 21:10, the self-adjusted color brightness via sensor, the ultrasonic fingerprint scanner (also supporting the release with 2 fingers), and the Gorilla Glass Victus protection via glass.

In the hole at the top in the center there is a 16 megapixel self-camera: the back, similar to that of the X Fold including the collaboration with Zeiss that starts from the T * coating, foresees, in the porthole contained in the section that covers the entire width. one main sensor of 50 (Samsung GN1, optical stabilization, 1 / 1.31 “, f / 1.57), one ultra-wide angle (114 °) of 48 (Sony IMX598, f / 2.2), one telescopic of 12 (Sony IMX663 , 47 mm, f / 1.98), and the 8 periscope (f / 3.4, optical stabilization, 5x optical zoom, 60x digital super zoom).

Nothing to complain about the connectivity (NFC, Dual SIM with 5G, GPS, Wi-Fi ax / 6, Bluetooth 5.2, Type-C), as well as on the energy side: here the X Note deploys a 5,000 mAh battery that can be quickly charged to 80W (totally in 32 minutes) via cable and 50W wirelessly, also benefited from reverse wireless charging, from 10W. The operating system is Android 12, with the Origin OS Ocean interface with the function for collaboration with the PC and Smart Office Pro.

No X for the tablet, which responds to the simple name of Vivo Pad, called to challenge the Xiaomi Pad 5 and its cousin Oppo Pad. Vivo’s smart tile opts for a middle-up data sheet right from the display, an OLED panel with Dolby Vision, sized in 11 inches, with a resolution of 1,600 x 2,560 pixels (2.5K), and 120 Hz refresh rate.

To animate the Vivo Pad on the software side, with cross-device features to collaborate with the PC and share the screen with other Vivo devices, is Android 12 covered with a customized version of the Origin OS 2.0 interface while, as for hardware, the processor acts. octacore (3.2 GHz) Snapdragon 870 at 7 nanometers: the 8 GB RAM interacts with 256 (2299 yuan or 332 euros) or 512 GB (2,999 yuan or 433 euros) of storage.

Equipped with connectivity such as 5G, Wi-Fi 6, and NFC, via Type-C the Vivo Pad charges the 8,040 mAh battery to 44W. On the market. the device will come with various accessories to be bought separately, such as the Vivo Pencil (4,096 pressure levels, about 50 euros), a magnetic cover (30 euros converted). and a keyboard (roughly 85 euros).
