Waiting for devices that warm the hi-tech hearts more, Vivo is well guarding the entry level range of the market, in which it has just announced the new Vivo Y33e smartphone.

A few months after the launch of the Y33s, the Chinese brand Vivo presented, also in China (with availability from 1 June for 1,299 yuan about 175 euros), a new economic smartphone of the same series, represented by the entry level Vivo Y33e, animated by Android 12 under the proprietary Color OS Ocean interface.
The new smartphone Vivo Y33e has a body (164 × 75.84 × 8.45 mm, weighs 198 grams) cadenced in the colors Magic blue (with gradient) and Fluorite black: along the perimeter, characterized by flat frames designed to remind iPhones, operate a mini – 3.5 mm jack for wired headphones or earphones, the microUSB Type-C and, on the side, on the right, the physical fingerprint scanner, with which to authenticate access to the smartphone and its security in general.
The screen of the Vivo Y33e is formed by a 6.51-inch LCD panel, resolved in HD +, i.e. 720 x 1600 pixels, with a panoramic aspect ratio of 20: 9, 88.99% screen-to-body, and 60 Hz as for the refresh rare (very basic): a shallow water drop inlet, a very softened V, houses the 8 megapixel (f / 2.0) selfiecamera.
On the back, a slightly protruding rectangular bumper houses, together with the 5G specification and the LED Flash, two rings inside which the sensors of the multi-camera, double, formed by a 13 megapixel main sensor (f / 2.2, autofocus, zoom) are well protected. 10x digital camera), and a 2 megapixel camera (f / 2.4) for macros.According to what emerged, the onboard camera app also supports Night Scene, TimeLapse and Portrait modes.
The octacore processor (2.2 GHz) Dimensity 700 set up by MediaTek with the Mali-G57 MC2 GPU (capable of video encoding at 2K @ 30FPS according to the codecs H.264, H.265, HEVC) powers the nerve center of the Vivo Y33e: the RAM – of the LPDDR4x type – does not go beyond 4 GB in amount, and the storage – UFS 2.2 – stops at 128 GB, but can gain another 1 TB maximum via microSD. The battery, from 5,000 mAh, charges in (not too) fast mode at 10W. For connectivity, Vivo by BBK has prepared a simple but functional array, with Dual SIM, 4G, 5G standalone and not, GPS, Wi-Fi ac / 5, and Bluetooth 5.1.
