Whatsapp is the app that has really revolutionized mobile communications, which has virtually replaced SMS, which is used throughout the world as a communication standard.It doesn’t matter if Whatsapp is in the Facebook galaxy or if there are alternatives like Telegram which also has more Whatsapp features, WhatsApp is still the most used chat and message app, where we can surely find everyone, available for practically every type of smartphone, including Samsung, Huawei, all Android phones, iPhones and Windows phones.
In this article, we are going to make a complete summary of all the Whatsapp tricks and the most hidden secrets, to become perfect not only in writing messages but also in managing various conversations, groups and using Whatsapp as a true master.

1) Hide the last time you were online and the notifications of reading messages
By default, WhatsApp shows the time of the last time you connected and shows it to others.
On iPhone you can disable this option with an option in Settings> Chat settings> Advanced.
On Android go instead in Settings -> Account> Privacy to hide the last access time and also the double blue check of the message read.

Only with an additional app is it possible, instead, to hide the last access and read confirmations without renouncing to see the last access of the others.
2) Backup and Restore of WhatsApp messages
WhatsApp automatically backs up conversations in Google Drive on Android phones and in iCloud on iPhone, but to be more sure of losing nothing you can also do a manual backup.

You can browse all the photos received in Whatsapp from the Gallery app.

If the phone number has been changed, but the same smartphone has been kept, it is not necessary to uninstall and reinstall WhatsApp.
There is a setting inside that allows you to migrate the account to a different phone number.
In Whatsapp, go to Settings -> Account -> Change number.
Check the new number and you’re done.

To install Whatsapp on tablet you must install the app by downloading the apk file to be run on the tablet (authorizing the installation from unknown origins).
Download and then install SRT AppGuard.
Run SRT AppGuard, select WhatsApp from the Dashboard and press Monitor; scroll down and disable the identity-check of the phone.
WhatsApp should now work on the tablet.
To activate WhatsApp, you can receive the activation code on your mobile.

From January 2015 it is possible to chat on Whatsapp Web from any computer, via the web.
