The innovations know no respite in the world of WhatsApp which, in a few hours, by distributing new betas for Android and iOS, has made new progress towards functions currently unpublished but destined for debut in future updates.

In the middle week of this beginning of May, many news arrive from the WhatsApp front, with the famous instant messaging that has made it possible to ascertain the progress in the future functions of reporting status updates, interaction with Ray-Ban Stories, and the function to delete a message from a group chat for everyone.
The first novelty of this recap on WhatsApp starts from the 22.10.0.72 release made available as a beta for iOS users via TestFlight. Borrowing from what has been developed in the past weeks for the beta iteration for Desktop, WhatsApp, used to bring its functions from one platform to another, has started to develop the same novelty also for iOS users who, in a future update as a result, they will have a simplified way to consult others’ status updates.
Specifically, and out of metaphor, the novelty discovered by the WABetaInfo leakers in the beta 22.10.0.72 of WhatsApp for iOS refers to the possibility of knowing the existence of a new status update by one of our contacts without having to go to the appropriate Status update tab, but referring to the chat list, with the contact porthole that will be circled with a notification bubble. According to what is announced, at the moment, although last-minute changes in view of the debut are not excluded, in the chat list even the deactivated status updates would be highlighted.
Continuing what was spotted in the beta 2.22.1.7 for Android, in the beta release 2.22.11.6, WhatsApp is continuing to develop the function that will allow, if the admin of a group, to delete a given message from the chat for everyone: the new development step of the function, which will also see the administrator intervention time frame extended to 2 days and 12 hours, now provides that a warning will be shown when you are about to delete a message for everyone, which highlights how the other users they will see who deleted the given message.
Finally, with the arrival of the beta 2.22.11.6, what was discovered in the 2.22.9.13 release was confirmed: specifically, Meta plans to extend the compatibility of Ray-Ban Stories glasses also to WhatsApp, so that it is possible to be read or send messages (always end-to-end encrypted) with them, but also make calls on WhatsApp to your chat contacts. In the new update, it was possible to appreciate an evolutionary step of this novelty, which will lead the smart glasses to be displayed in the list of connected devices, once the user has associated their WhatsApp account with them.
