After conquering users in China, the brand new ones Xiaomi 14 e Xiaomi 14 Ultra they also arrive in Europe.
Great news for fans of the brand who, however, have to give up on the arrival of Xiaomi 14 Pro and some memory cuts that, apparently, will never leave the eastern market. It also remains exclusive to Chinese consumers Titanium Special Edition of the Ultra model.
Despite these small “shortcomings”, however, these two smartphones represent the maximum expression of Xiaomi regarding cameraphonesthanks also to the collaboration with Leica which has brought on board these devices a very high-end photographic sector, ready to challenge the competition one shot at a time.
Xiaomi 14 and 14 Ultra: technical data sheet
The new Xiaomi 14 there is a display 6.36-inch AMOLED, with 1.5K resolution and refresh rate up to 120 Hz. There is glass on the screen Gorilla Glass Diet which protects it from accidental impacts and falls.
Xiaomi 14 Ultrahowever, has a display 6.73 inch AMOLED, with WQHD+ resolution, variable refresh rate up to 120 Hz. The glass also changes which for this model is one Xiaomi Shield Glass.
For both models processor chosen by Xiaomi is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 with the basic model having two memory cuts 12/256 GB and 12/512 GB, while the Ultra model is available with only one memory cut with 16/256 GB.
For both devices the cameras are created in collaboration with Leica which provided the Chinese company with its goal VARIO-SUMMILUX.
The basic Xiaomi 14 has a 50 MP main sensor with OIS, a 50 MP ultra-wide angle sensor and a 50 MP telephoto lens with 3.2x zoom.
The photographic sector of the Ultra model is very similar which to all the above sensors also adds a second telephoto lens with 5x zoom, again 50 MP. On both devices the front camera is 32 MP.
Mirror them connections with 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, the NFC chip, USB-C and various solutions for geolocation.
The drums of the basic model is 4,610 mAh with 90 W wired charging and 50 W wireless charging.
For the Ultra model, however, it goes up to 5,300 mAh with 90W wired charging, 80W wireless charging and reverse charging.
Il operating system for both it is Android 14 with HyperOS user interface.
Finally both smartphones are IP68 certifiedand are therefore resistant to dust and water even when diving.

The new Xiaomi 14 can already be purchased on the official website of Xiaomi come on Amazon a 999 euro for the 12/256 GB ea model 1.099 euro for the one with 12/512 GB. To mark the launch, one is also included in the package Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro.
Also Xiaomi 14 Ultra can already be purchased at the recommended price of 1.499 euro for the only version available with 16/256 GB.
