Continuing the announcements of the last few months, Yamaha has pulled two new wireless earphones out of the hat, represented by the TWS TW-ES5A and TW-E7B models, the second of which with ANC and Listening Care Advanced.

In the course of an announcement that confirmed the actual arrival on the market (for 149 euros on Amazon) of the previous TW-E5Bs, the Japanese brand Yamaha has unveiled two new wireless earphones, represented by the new TW-ES5A and TW-E7B.
The entry level of the pair, or the TW-ES5A (169 euros), are in-ear headphones, with a hook to remain anchored during sports activities, of which sweat is not feared, being waterproof according to the IPX7 degree. Designed in 5 shades, they stand out especially in the blue taken from the Yamaha Rancing division. Basically, they enjoy different optimization technologies typical of the Japanese brand, starting with True Sound (digital and acoustic devices to make the sound as conceived by the artist),
It is then flanked by Ambient Sound (to let the surrounding sounds pass through for safety), Qualcomm cVc (to ensure clear phone calls and the collection of clear voice for the interlocutor), Listening Care (equalization of high and low frequencies , usually not very noticeable at low volume, so that it is not necessary to turn it up, stressing the hearing system less) and, for gaming or when watching a video, a gamign mode with low latency. The autonomy starts from the 9 hours ensured by the earphones, to which are added another 25 thanks to the case, for a total of 34 hours.
Always with support for the main voice assistants, the premium TW-E7B earphones (249 euros) also arrive. The latter, IPX5 waterproof, still enjoy the Pure Sound technologies, the low latency mode, the Qualcomm CVC for clear calls, but they improve Listening Care, here advanced since it also takes into account other data, such as recording levels, the background noise, the dynamic range of the music, the volume of the content.
Equipped with 10mm drivers, these earphones have active noise cancellation, ANC which, entrusted to an internal microphone (which takes into account how the audio resonates depending on how the earphone is worn and the shape of the ear) and to an algorithm, it is able – filtered out the noises – to leave the sound unchanged without the need for the usual corrective actions towards the ANC. There is also an Ambient Sound mode here and, in addition, Bluetooth 5.0 transmits – via TrueWireless Mirroring – independently to the two earphones, resulting in greater stability and less delay. The autonomy, perhaps equal to 6 hours with the ANC on, reaches 22 total thanks to the 16 hours of the case.
