After the news communicated in favor of the creators, and those relating to the arrival of the pre-publication checks also on the mobile side, the Google streaming platform, YouTube, has also introduced a small improvement on YouTube Music, and launched a test on the mobile side for the standard version.

Recently, YouTube Music has introduced small aesthetic improvements, not revolutionary, but still good to revive the look of the app, renewing the button for smart downloads, and introducing an Explore section which, indeed, will make the namesake superfluous and repetitive. form. Of greater importance, however, is undoubtedly the novelty just implemented by the spin-off in question, which concerns the carousel “Listen again” (Listen Again) which collects the playlists, songs and albums that have been listened to recently, so that it is easy to retrieve them without having to search for them again, not always without fail.

Previously, there was a single lane carousel, showing at most two or three items at a time, making it necessary to scroll several times to find what you wanted. Now, however, the Listen again section takes the form of a grid, thanks to which you can see six different covers together, being able to have, at first impact, many more elements, with the probability of finding what you want first. he was trying to listen again.

To take advantage of the novelty, if you have been enabled for it (otherwise you will have to wait), simply update the app, by going to the Android Play Store, and tapping on the item “Update”.

Another YouTube-themed novelty seems to have concerned the standard version of the platform, but only on the mobile side, since there have been no signs of it either in the version for smart TVs, nor in the computer version, or in the console version. In particular, as reported on Reddit and Twitter, it seems to some users that the like counter has also disappeared. However, on closer inspection, it was found that this is not a change similar to the one that definitively hid the “I don’t like” counter, but only a shift. Compared to before, when the Like counter was directly under the video, now to some users, probably involved in a test, the counter in question has been “hidden” in the description.
