Lately Google has released a new update for Android users enrolled in the beta program. It’s about the version QPR 2 Beta 2 Of Android 14new update useful for correcting various bugs and introducing some features that Google is working on.
In the hope of solving some problems that persist within the experimental version in question, several users have found themselves with a serious problem. Apparently, after updating their Pixel 7 Promore people said that the fingerprint sensor would have stopped working.
According to what has been reported, the problem is extensive, but it is not unsolvable. There is in fact a very clear procedure to follow which you can find in the next paragraph. Each step has been indicated in the list.
The procedure to restore the fingerprint after updating to Android 14 QPR 2 Beta 2
To recalibrate the Pixel 7 Pro fingerprint sensor after the Android 14 QPR 2 Beta 2 update, here are some basic guidelines:
- Make sure you have backed up all important data stored on your Android smartphone;
- Connect to the site Web Pixel Repair on your computer and install the fingerprint recalibration software from the bottom of the screen;
- Turn off the Pixel 7 Pro by performing a soft reset, by pressing the “volume are” e “on/off“;
- Once your phone is turned off, turn it back into mode Fastboot on your Pixel 7 Pro by holding down the “volume up and down” and “power” keys for three seconds. A screen with a red triangle will appear;
- After making sure you are in Fastboot mode, connect your Android smartphone to your PC using a USB cable;
- Click on “Connect” and follow the listed instructions to the letter;
After completing the fingerprint recalibration process, your phone will reboot automatically. If all this does not produce a positive result, we recommend restarting once again.
