The wait pleasantly wore out the users: now finally the Vision Pro of Apple is available for pre-order and it is natural to wonder what other surprises the company has in store for this 2024. During the last few hours, the first rumors about the Cupertino giant’s potential plans are making their way through the web.
The answer was, as always Mark Gurman by Bloomberg: the analyst revealed many details regarding Apple’s programs, both on the software side and in relation to some highly anticipated devices.

To comply with some requirements required by the European Union, Apple will introduce new changes to its operating system iOS. The Digital Markets Act will in fact impose bans on the company, exactly the same as those imposed on giants of the caliber of Alphabet, Amazon, ByteDance, Meta and Microsoft.
Gurman states with certainty that the weeks preceding March 7 will be fundamental. Before that date, which will see the entry into force of the DMA, it is reasonable to expect changes also for theApp Store but above all a series of new devices. These will make their first release in the spring; these are the new ones iPad and new ones MacBook Air.
The tablets that Apple has planned will cover one model Air with larger screen and a model update Pro. As far as laptops are concerned, the new MacBook Airs that will arrive should be updated with the new proprietary processor M3.
This will only be a preview of what we will see in June, with the now highly anticipated WWDC. The most important announcement will obviously concern iOS 18, a new version of the software that will be revolutionary and will most likely offer new solutions based on generative artificial intelligence entrusted to Siri. This will be a necessary step as in recent months Apple has fallen behind what giants such as Microsoft and Samsung have done.
