That the application Note from Apple is one of the fundamental applications of the system iOS it is now well known. It’s perfectly synchronized with all the brand’s devices, starting from the iPhone up to the iPad and Mac, also supporting various formatting styles and also a generally very intuitive and functional interface.
Unlike many other note-taking apps with advanced features, this one is also free. Unfortunately though, after Apple released iOS 17, the Notes app began to crash and exhibit other malfunctions for an ever-increasing number of users. Thousands of reports have been accumulating in recent weeks.
Apple’s Notes app suddenly freezes and crashes
The various reports, which have actually been going on for several months now, are making the issue stand out more and more. The problem seems to be with the synchronization Of iCloud as most users who experience Note unexpected freezes, report that once iCloud sync is turned off, the app would be able to function normally.
However, when synchronization is reactivated, the app freezes again a few moments after opening. Many report that when sudden freezes and crashes occur, it results impossible to write new notes or even search and view older ones.
The problem turns out to be quite big, since the synchronization of notes from Apple devices is one of the primary advantages of using the entire ecosystem.
Users have tried multiple ways to resolve; apparently a small number of users have succeeded. As some experiences report, someone would have simply solved it uninstalling the application and then reinstall it. You could therefore try going this route, even if there are many people who report that they have not eliminated the bug. At the moment Apple has not commented on the matter, so it is not known how it will end.
