Aruba Managed Kubernetes, here is the solution for simplified container management

Kubernetes is an open source system for automating the deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications. It is designed to make it easier to manage distributed applications across various computing infrastructures, allowing developers and administrators to orchestrate and manage the container in an efficient way.

The features integrated into the platform allow you to specify the requirements in terms of machine resources (CPU, memory, storage,…) for each container, thus managing their allocation efficiently.

The tools of discovery and direct access to services within each cluster, as well as traffic load balancing between containers, allow reduce operational complexity. The so-called rolling updates and the ability to perform restores to a previous state of the container (rollback) ensure the continuous availability of applications by allowing developers to focus on programming tasks rather than managing the underlying infrastructure.

What Aruba Managed Kubernetes is and how it works

The new solution Aruba Managed Kubernetes looks at simplified container management and is designed for developers and IT professionals interested in technology cloud-native. The goal is to meet the needs of companies of all sizes, from SMEs to enterprises.

Born in response to the ever-growing needs of companies that use i container as an application development and deployment tool, Aruba Managed Kubernetes is built on latest generation hardware, market-leading technologies and is delivered through a network of company-owned data centers built to the highest standards of logical and physical security.

The main features

In presenting the new proposal, Aruba wanted to highlight how the creation of its own cluster Kubernetes be a matter of a few clicks, via an interface user-friendly. Furthermore, a guided procedure allows you to deploy applications to the cloud in a matter of minutes.

The platform is flexible and scalable, allowing you to adapt the resources committed by each cluster based on specific workloads. The maxim redundancy and minimum latency are ensured by three interconnected data centers (with latencies less than a millisecond).

Those who choose Aruba Managed Kubernetes can also take advantage of a solution that ensures complete visibility on resource use and cost control.

The Kubernetes as a Service solution that we officially presented at KubeCon is a fundamental milestone for us in our redesign roadmap of the entire cloud offering, which will see the release of many new ones in the coming months components IaaS e PaaS about our foundation open source“, commented Massimo Bandinelli, Marketing Manager of Aruba Cloud. “Aruba Managed Kubernetes is in fact a complete solution for cloud native development and therefore allows companies to run workloads on a standard platform, extremely reliable and distributed throughout Europe and Europe, with all the advantages that this entails in terms of compliance e sovereignty of the data“.

ArubaKube: collaboration with the Polytechnic of Turin

The launch of Aruba Managed Kubernetes also saw the participation of Aruba Kube, a spin-off of the Polytechnic University of Turin and Aruba’s center of excellence for research, development and innovation on Cloud Native technologies and open source projects, with a particular focus on Kubernetes. Based in Turin, ArubaKube represents a further demonstration of the growing commitment to research and development of innovative realities in the area, also thanks to an increasingly close collaboration with the Polytechnic.

ArubaKube aims to simplify the management of Cloud Computingto promote innovative solutions and to offer enterprise-level support to companies, aiming – for example – to eliminate the risk of vendor lock-inon cost reduction and on the creation of a two-way relationship between community and company.

Among the projects destined to attract great interest, the commitment to open source stands out Swallow. This is a solution oriented to creation of a virtual infrastructure capable of aggregating resources and services from different Kubernetes clusters, even from multiple cloud service providers, allowing the centralized construction and orchestration of multi-cloud services.
