All of that finally came true when OpenAI released the official application for the devices iOS. When the first version dedicated to iPhones was released, the company promised that an app for iPhone would soon arrive Android.

Android, on the Google Play Store here is the ChatGPT app but not for Europe

Exactly two months after the launch for the iOS platform, ChatGPT was also made available for Android users with the first pre-registrations. All interested parties were able to register to automatically obtain the application on their smartphone once it was available.

Fortunately there was no need to wait long, as ChatGPT is now available on the Google Play Store. The official tab that represents the appropriate section of the app explains that it’s a totally free solution. The news is great for those who use the chatbot extensively: now they will have the possibility to have the history everywhere.

At the moment, as the official OpenAI channels state, the app is only available for the USA, India, Bangladesh and Brazil. It will arrive in other countries, including Europe, from next week.

Just like the application dedicated to iOS, ChatGPT Plus subscribers will have exclusive access to the new language model GPT-4. This will allow early access to features and will ensure significantly faster response times.

Of course, users with a free subscription will pay nothing and will be able to have the standard GPT-3.5 language model.
