OpenAI introduced a new and interesting feature to the famous chatbot ChatGPT.
We’re talking about function Read aloudpotentially very useful for users on the move and who may therefore find it convenient to be read aloud by the chatbot.
In this sense ChatGPT offers five different voices and compatibility with well 37 languages. In this regard, Artificial Intelligence is able to automatically identify the language used.
Read aloud is available for Web version of the AI tool and related apps on Android e iOS. The feature is available for both GPT-3.5 that for GPT-4. This implementation underlines the enormous multimodal potential of ChatGPT, as well as going to “match” what was recently proposed by Anthropicwhich already offers something very similar.
With Read Aloud ChatGPT becomes an entirely “verbal” chatbot
ChatGPT introduced voice chat already during the month of September 2023. Since then, users of the chatbot have been able to interact with the same without manually typing the prompts. Read aloud, in this sense, is like closing a circle: now, the OpenAI chatbot is completely usable through the channel verbal.
