For the 2022 change, Google cut that one dashboard which offered the user useful reports for better driving, complete with multimedia suggestions and other useful features. The Auto mode, in this sense, was perceived by several users as a downgrade.

Despite this, the app now remains a real point of reference for those who intend to orient themselves, both on foot and on board a vehicle, so much so that it has now totally supplanted any type of GPS or similar system.
