Some sources have reported the news in the last few hours: the new color scheme of Google Maps, which shows the app more beautiful than before, is also starting to be spotted on Android Auto.
At least initially, the company had talked about a renewal for Maps starting in October 2023, only to later change its plans. At the time it was said that some new shades would make their official debut in the app in the months that followed, starting as always from the United States, France, Canada and Germany.
Now apparently they can be viewed on Android Auto, offering users an up-to-date map to enjoy on the go. Many people, who learned about this change directly on their smartphones, initially compared it to Apple Maps. In fact, the change in colors was not welcomed by many people, but it seems that many have gotten used to it.
Although the shades introduced by Google are too bright and less precise for many users, they are able to better reflect the real world. This is just the beginning of a series of new features that will soon be implemented more fully in Maps.
