Google Meet, Europen subtitles officially arrive

The development of the various functions that equip the platform has always been the main objective of Google Meet. The corporate videoconferencing solution, which can be used by all those with a Google account, works especially on accessibility every day. The latest updates have helped make the application much more comfortable to use for users with disabilities.

Precisely in this key it is worth noting the great news reported with the latest update, released in these hours by the development team. In fact, Google Meet is slowly adding new languages ai subtitles. The beta version used for the development of all the features that will arrive in the stable version, has just welcomed Polish, Romanian, Turkish, Vietnamese, Thai and Indonesian.

As mentioned, these are news that at least for the moment are reserved exclusively for subscribers to the beta version, but the stable version would also have received an update.

Google Meet, Europen subtitles come out of beta and become official

In addition to having prepared support for other languages, Google Meet has announced that it has implemented subtitles in Europen in the final version of the app. They therefore officially come out of the beta phase and become an integral part of the platform, just like Dutch, Japanese, Portuguese, Korean and Russian.

It will therefore be possible to take advantage of this great advantage within video calls, which can be even more inclusive.

According to what Google reported on its official blog, all the new subtitle languages will be present on the platform for all users. In fact, a particular subscription will not be necessary, since it will be enough to have any one at Google Workspace.

Remember, however, that the possibility of using subtitles updated translations is limited only and exclusively to some packages. This feature upgrade is only available for Business Standard, Business Plus, Enterprise Starter, Enterprise Standard, Enterprise Plus, and Education Plus.
