For a few weeks there had been an air of novelty at Google, especially on the side Play Store. The latest information has spread the news of a change to the famous market right within the system update of the month of July.
It will now be possible to notice new events, updates, offers and content available within a game or application and while browsing the Play Store. This is what the list of news about the latest update reserved for Android now distributed to almost everyone states.
This new feature, which has already arrived in the web version of the store, officially arrives on smartphones as part of the update to the version 36.5 of Google Play. The roll-out began on July 3 for everyone.
Google Play Store: The new update introduces special events
The new slides “Special event” will be displayed at the top of the interface, marked with a bar located at the top left. Scrolling to the bottom of the tabs available, you will access a page with all the offers and events.
Among the more interesting games that include a “Special Event” tab are Pokémon GO, Clash od Clans, Raid: Shadow Legends, Genshin Impact e Roblox. The tabs, available in the form of slides, will appear individually at the top of the screen one after the other.
The application will also take care of reporting the best games for each category within the overview of the offers Play Points limited time. Temporary offers for in-game purchases may also appear.
It is therefore an important stage in the renewal process of Google which this time has focused on the Play Store. In this way, Android users will have a new opportunity to save on purchases as well as to discover new offers.
