In the past few hours, the Chinese brand Hisense has announced the availability on the market of two new smart TV lines, including the A9H seen at CES 2022, of which only some diagonals are currently available (starting from 2,299 pounds, about 2,670 euros for 65 “), and the A85H.

The Hisense A9H series, waiting for the 75 “model, brings to the debut the 55 (55A9H) and 65” (65A9H) diagonals, both IMAX Enhanced certified: the panels used, of LG’s OLED WRGB type, have a resolution UltraHD 4K and support high dynamic range in HDR10, HLG and Dolby Vision formats (also IQ), without however neglecting the target of gamers, given the presence first of all of the refresh rate at 120 Hz, of the input lag at 20ms in gaming mode and support for AMD FreeSync technology (useful for preventing the annoying phenomena of tearing and stuttering).

Animated by the proprietary quadcore processor Hi-View Engine (which brings fluidization via MEMC and various AI based optimizations, such as 3D Digital Comb Filter, AI Scene Recognition, AI 4K upscaling, AI Picture Optimization), the Hisense A9H from 55 and 65 “They improve, compared to last year’s A9G edition, also in terms of connectivity, including not only two classic HDMI 2.0, but also two HDMI 2.1 with eARC (on one of the two ports), VRR (variable refresh rate) at 120Hz, ALLM (self-lowering latency when gaming) and High Frame Rate in 4K / 120fps. The other ports consist of a headphone output, an RJ45 for the LAN, a pair of USB (one of which is 3.0), and an analog composite input. On the wireless side, the data sheet talks about the implementation of Bluetooth 5.0 and Wi-Fi 6 ..

The audio of the Hisense A9H series, coordinated by the VIDAA U6.0 operating system, is delivered by a 3.1.2-channel system that employs a technology similar to the rival Sony’s Acoustic Surface: it is the Sonic Acoustic, which emits the sound ( supporting DTS Virtual: X and Dolby Atmos) through the vibration of the screen with a power of 80W (50W obtained from five speakers of 10W each, 10W from 2 speakers of 5W each, 20W provided by a subwoofer).

The Hisense A85H series borrows most of the specifications from the larger series just mentioned and is calibrated in the diagonals of 55 (1.4.99 pounds, 1,746 euros approximately) and 65 inches 1,999 pounds, 2,322 euros approximately): it has less powerful audio, and it benefits from a support which, while ensuring its stability, allows it to rotate by 25 °.
