1) Poste Italiane website from PC or Mac

Post site

To pay bills from a Windows PC or a Mac, all we have to do is go to the site Italian posttake us to the Pay online section and press on Pre-compiled bulletins about are White bulletins.

Once the type of slip to be paid has been chosen, enter the Post Office account credentials or the SPID-enabled PosteID (in case we have chosen to merge the two accounts) and, in the new screen that will open, fill in all the necessary fields before proceed to payment.

The fields to fill in change according to the type of bulletin chosen: in the case of pre-compiled bulletins, just enter the bulletin code to see the fields filled in automatically; if instead we have chosen a white slip we will have to fill in all the proposed fields by hand, in particular the amount to be paid, the current account on which to make the payment, the recipient of the payment and the issuer of the payment (ie us).

After completing all the fields, we confirm and choose the payment method we wish to use: at the time of writing, it is possible to pay with charge to Visa or MasterCard credit card (except for white bulletins) or, if we are users of the Italian Post Office, charge the cost to the BancoPosta or Postepay account associated with our account.

The transaction is immediate and also generates a proof document (practically identical to the one obtainable by post), to be kept for future checks. The online transaction involves an additional cost of €1 on the amount to be paid, which is in any case lower than the rate normally paid at the post office.

2) BancoPosta app

BancoPosta

If we have a BancoPosta account we can pay the bulletins even when we are out of the CA using the app BancoPostaavailable for free download for Android and for iPhone/iPad.

By opening this app we will be able to pay the postal bills online by logging in with the postal account or with the PosteID enabled as SPID and, once inside the app, we can pay by pressing the button Bills and paymentsby pressing on Scan code and framing the code in the lower part of the bulletin with the rear camera of the phone.

Alternatively, we can manually compile the bulletin by pressing on the item Or fill in manually and choosing the type of bulletin. At the end of the compilation we will be able to pay by pressing the button Pay and using the security code set for payments or fingerprint.

If we have not yet set the security code, the app will ask us to provide it, communicating a valid telephone number and carrying out the first check, so as to be able to choose the code to send (or the fingerprint to be used for each transaction).
