HWiNFO and GIGABYTE team up to show more data on motherboards

HWiNFO is a well-known and popular software for monitoring computer hardware resources. It is a very useful tool to get detailed information about system components such as the CPU, motherboard, video card, RAM memory, hard drives and SSD drives, temperatures, fan rotation speed and much more.

The application, available for all versions of Windows, even in a portable version that does not require installation, helps to make a inventory of the hardware components present on the machine, ascertain theirs characteristics and check the system conditions in real time. With HWiNFO, you also have the option of diagnose hardware problemsperform performance tests and make decisions regarding upgrades or component replacements.

A special version of HWiNFO returns detailed information about GIGABYTE motherboards

The collaboration started between GIGABYTE and the developers of HWiNFO, allows users owning a motherboard designed and built by the Taiwanese company to collect a wider range of information. For example, the special version of HWiNFO intended for GIGABYTE motherboard based systems, allows you to check the RAM behavior more punctually. Optimized access to timings of RAM memory is one of the main fruits of the collaboration between HWiNFO and GIGABYTE: users can thus make informed decisions aimed at improving their memory configurations, enhancing system performance and stability.

The exclusive partnership with HWiNFO has also led to the development and integration into the software of a function of reading BIOS information. This unique feature allows users to easily access and retrieve detailed BIOS information directly through the HWiNFO interface.

Thanks to the perfect organization of data within HWiNFO, GIGABYTE users can monitor and analyze the BIOS settingsfirmware versions and other information crucial for system maintenance and optimization.

L’agreement with HWiNFO has been confirmed by GIGABYTE itself: in a statement the company also adds that when the utility detects the presence of a GIGABYTE motherboard, automatically applies a unique skin designed especially for the Asian company’s motherboards, with colors and features in line with the AORUS series. There skin it is included in the HWiNFO diagnostic software and is optimized for both light and dark modes.

GIGABYTE noted that the special ways of interacting with its motherboards refer to models based on chipset Intel Z790/B760/Z690/B660/H610 e AMD X670/B650/A620. All motherboard series must use the BIOS version released at the end of July 2023.
