iPhone 14, batteries deteriorated after a year of use

Apple is currently grappling with the launch of the new iPhone 15, which in fact will take place in about a month. It hasn’t been a year yet since the current line was launched iPhone 14arrived in stores on September 16, 2022. However, users would already be reporting some problems with the battery, or at least some of them would be doing so.

There have been several complaints about the deterioration of the batteries, with various reports that are pouring into social networks. While complaints like this aren’t new to the tech giants, it’s actually a major issue. Several users report a percentage less than 90% about the health of their smartphone battery after just 11 months.

iPhone 14, is it normal that the battery is already so worn out?

According to reports, the level of deterioration reported on the web by users could fall within the limits and specifications set by Apple. In fact, we must consider that the performance of the battery is not absolutely constant and can change over time, especially when you use your smartphone intensely.

Despite this, users in possession of an iPhone 14 are not absolutely satisfied. There are even some owners of one of the smartphones in the current line-up who report a battery percentage87% regarding the state of health.

Many argue that it has become practically impossible to use the same iPhone for two years in a row without having to change the battery. At the same time, however, there are also some users who after almost a year of use still see the state of health of the unit mark 100%.

Apple claims that a regular battery is designed to hold up to 80% of its original capacity and up to 500 cycles full recharge. Given the time that has passed, therefore, the giant does not find it strange that around 250 recharge cycles can lead to 90% or something more.

Probably the particularly high temperatures, never recorded as in this month of July, have an influence.
