iPhone 16, Apple changes the design of the cameras

It wasn’t long ago that we talked about willingness on the part of Apple to significantly improve its range iPhone. The American giant actually wants to introduce the models 16 with various improvements, including within the photographic sector.

According to what has been reported, there is persistent talk of an iPhone 16 prototype which would include a group of rear cameras very similar to the one used by the revolutionary model X.

iPhone 16 basic like the old X? The design of the cameras might remind you of this

Anyone who remembers that design would certainly know that it included a module that ran vertically on the left side of the rear panel. This contained two vertically mounted cameras separated by flashes. As it always has, Apple then continued that design with the series XS before revolutionizing everything with the arrival of the 11 and 12 range models.

Starting with the iPhone 13 models, Apple has placed the rear cameras in a box in the upper left corner of the rear panel. The lenses have been moved in diagonal. Listening to the latest rumors, it is hypothesized that Apple wants to return to the design used on the iPhone Vision Pro. As most informed users will know by now, photos and videos shot on the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max can be viewed in 3D on Apple’s new futuristic product.

In this regard, this this cannot happen with the 15 and 15 Plus models: the rear cameras must in fact be aligned. This should therefore be the main reason why Apple may want to revolutionize the rear design. It would be a return to the past, which for many would be welcome while for others it would be a step backwards.

Above you can see the clearly unconfirmed features of what would be the next iPhone 16 model. The one in the photo should be one of the many projects in the pipeline.
