Lenovo may launch a new AI-powered operating system

The Hong Kong-based company, in fact, had already revealed this intention in the middle of last year. Despite this, some recent statements from a company manager reveal some further interesting details regarding the company’s plans.

The well-known Asian manufacturer intends to work on an OS capable of capturing and understanding the natural languagewhich would make the computer capable of working with minimal input from the user.

The operating system, apparently, could already be integrated into some computer models offered by Lenovo launched on the market in the coming months. In the manufacturer’s intentions there would be the launch of a real “ecosystem” of PCs equipped with AI, with notable innovations compared to devices of the past.

Despite the introduction of AI, Lenovo also let it shine through that privacy and security of customers remain a priority. For this reason, it seems, new technologies will still provide ample guarantees regarding user protection.

The company’s move could shake up the entire IT world, with Lenovo possibly even challenging an industry giant like Microsoftwith a potential competitor for Windows 11. Although this forecast is somewhat optimistic, the fact remains that the integration of AI into operating systems can certainly enrich the market with new competitors, making life decidedly more difficult for the Redmond giant.

Lenovo also recently made headlines for the launch of the Appreciable ThinkBook Plus Gen 5a hybrid laptop capable of combining two different OS, i.e Windows e Android.
