LinkedIn introduces three new job search features

Yesterday LinkedIn has implemented new features designed to facilitate job search by the members. Specifically, these are three new functions available on the platform.

The first concerns the possibility of including works in collected (that is to say Job Collections), in order to facilitate evaluation and filtering of offers. This feature classifies relevant job opportunities into groups or categories, such as non-profit organizations, parental leave, smart working and many other possible items.

The collections of works are available onapp mobile of LinkedIn (iOS e Android) and on the website at the top of the page Jobs.

The second concerns a page dedicated to Preferences, with a search process that allows you to select parameters regarding the job, from the type of position sought to the salary requested. It is accessible at the top of the Works tab on mobile devices or in the left menu on the website.

From job collections to the “I’m interested” button: LinkedIn pushes job searches

Finally, the presence of new buttonI’m interested” allows the potential candidate to express their interest in a company, without applying directly.

Clicking this button is like leaving a curriculum to a company, expressing a general interest. This action adds your profile to a list that recruiters can review during the search for candidates for different positions.

These LinkedIn introductions don’t come by chance. It is estimated, in fact, that in 2024 the85% of professionals wish to change jobs. With these small and simple introductions, the social network wants to try to support this desire.

Rohan RajivLinkedIn’s head of job search, stated how “Monthly job search intensity increased 21% in 2023 compared to 2022“. Data and statistics that demonstrate how these introductions will certainly be appreciated by users.
