Microsoft pushes on AI: here's how it changes the name of Edge on iOS and Android

The essential software for anyone with a smartphone and/or a tablet is certainly the browser web. The market offers various solutions (the most popular one is from Google) but there is also an upturn Microsoft Edge. Based on Chromium, it is more versatile and faster in operations, and – for a few months – it can also count on alcune feature AI.

Microsoft Edge is now an AI Browser on the App Store and Play Store

Wanting to bring the user’s attention to this important detail, the Redmond company has decided to rename the browser on the App Store (iOS and iPadOS) and Play Store (Android): it is now called Microsoft Edge: Browser AI. In terms of new features there is nothing to report, but the tech giant has decided to apply this change to immediately underline the browser’s potential linked to artificial intelligence.

Although some features indicated in the description (also updated) are actually also available in other browsers, Microsoft Edge has the enormous advantage of integrating them by default. Once the app has been downloaded, they are immediately available to the user, just a tap away.

Microsoft Edge is your AI-powered browser, packed with AI-powered features that improve your browsing experience, including the new Copilot in Edge that helps you find, create, and do beyond what you thought possible with a smarter browser .

Screenshots are also new and focus on AI and tools like FROM-E 3 e Copilot.
