Google has decided to concentrate resources to carry out functions Artificial intelligence to prevent smartphones from distracting car drivers.

Android Auto, it seems, will work precisely in this sense, offering its services for automatically summarize messages too long to read or group chat. All so that the user’s attention remains on the road and not on the phone display. According to what has been leaked, new AI technologies will also allow suggestions actions and answers for the same chats, without the user ever having to pick up the smartphone.

A practical example of these new functions? If a user receives a message about scheduling a lunch, Android Auto can transmit all the relevant information to the user (location of the restaurant, meeting time and the like), without distracting the driver.
This isn’t the only Android Auto update offered by Google. Soon, the tool will offer new custom design elements, such as wallpaper e icons. As stated by Google in a post on its official blog, everything will be aimed at creating “An even smoother transition and consistent experience from your phone to your car“.
These new introductions are not a rarity. Android Auto, in fact, about a month ago was able to benefit from an interesting implementation regarding the identification of parking lots through Google Maps.
