Google is releasing the latest 2023 updates for its apps. In fact, just a few days ago it released the update Play Services of December. Inside, the giant creator of Android wanted to describe a new feature that will concern the Play Store. In fact, users will be able to thanks to it disinstallare apps from your remotely connected devices.
This feature is not yet available on Android devices at the moment, but someone would have been able to enable it.
The Play Store and the feature that allows you to uninstall apps on connected devices remotely
The entire process of uninstalling apps remotely via the Play Store has appeared directly on the web. In order to access the feature, you will need to have the version 38.8 of the Play Store.
Just as users can currently install apps remotely on their signed-in Android devices, you will also be able to uninstall them from a connected device of your choice. That said, it seems like the helpful process for uninstalling should be a little more fiddly.
When, after beta, the new update will be available for the official platform, users should be able to do everything via a few steps. Here they are:
- Tap your profile picture in the Play Store and open “Manage apps and device”;
- Scroll to the “Manage” section;
- Tap the name of your current device: a list of all connected devices will appear;
- Choose the device from which you want to uninstall apps;
- Select everything from the list of apps displayed for that device;
- Tap the “Delete” icon in the top right corner to uninstall the selected apps.
As the source says, users will be able to put in order applications to uninstall by name and size. This will make it much easier to find and delete the heaviest applications that take up the most space.
