In recent tests, it set an industry-first standard on the sub-6 GHz spectrum, even reaching 7.5 Gbps!

The world’s first 5G Advanced-ready modem-RF system, Snapdragon X75ever since the announcement last February to the Mobile World Congress of Barcelona has remained behind the scenes to evolve, thanks to the company’s continuous efforts to improve the performance and flexibility of 5G. The results finally showed up. With 300 MHz spectrum and 4x carrier aggregation (4xCA) with 4 TDD channels in a downlink connection and 1024 Quadrature Amplitude Modulation (QAM), the 7.5 Gbps speed was achieved easily.
TDD 4-channel aggregation allows operators to combine their different spectrum resources to achieve higher data rates. In addition, 1024 QAM improves spectral efficiency by embedding more data in each transmission than 256 QAM, ultimately allowing for increased data throughput and better spectrum efficiency.
