Every year smartphone enthusiasts await the arrival of the new top of the range with great impatience. Especially in recent weeks, users linked to the world Samsung they waited for the new rumors to outline the profile of the next line Galaxy S24.
Although the presentation date of the devices is very far away, rumors are multiplying regarding their characteristics, both on the design and on the hardware.
At the moment there are several hypotheses that are circulating about the new S24s, with some aspects that would seem more than plausible.
Galaxy S24, the possible launch dates
Taking into account the last few years, Samsung has always chosen the month of February for the presentation of its flagships, except in the case of the Galaxy S21. On that occasion, users discovered the new smartphones in the line-up on January 29 but in all likelihood the next top of the range will be presented to the public at February 2024.
In fact, it must be remembered that the Galaxy S22 and S23 arrived respectively on February 25, 2022 and February 1, 2023.
How many models will come and what could be the design
A recent survey conducted overseas was very clear: users hope that a Plus variant will be revived. The rumors seem to go in that direction, with Samsung which should again rely on the three canonical models: Galaxy S24, S24 Plus ed S24 Ultra.
Conservative mentality also on design: rumors suggest that the South Korean company will maintain the design seen with the S23. The only aesthetic changes could only concern the positioning of some elements, as in the case of the cameras. It is therefore assumed that the similarity between the S23 range and the new S24 range will be remarkable.
Samsung Galaxy S24, the technical specifications and the return of the Exynos SoC
Tracing an outlined profile regarding the technical specifications concerning the S24 hardware is currently impossible. However, the rumors have begun to advance some hypotheses, one of which is certain: Samsung will opt for the return of the chips Exynos.
The proprietary processor will likely return to implement the models reserved for some markets, including the European one. The United States, South Korea and Singapore will see the new models carrying Qualcomm’s next chip, lo Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. The variant should be “For Galaxy“.
The other technical characteristics will not change much compared to the Galaxy S23. In fact, it will start from 128GB of internal memory e 8GB in RAM.
As far as the photographic sector is concerned, the Galaxy S24 and S24 Plus seem destined to keep the same lenses and the same sensors, with small changes for some specifications. Galaxy S24 Ultra, on the other hand, could integrate some changes to one of its telephoto lenses, especially on the 3x which could become a 5x.
At the same time there are those who deny this possibility and speak of a change that will affect the 10x optical sensor, which will go from being periscopic to having avariable aperture.
The first hypotheses on prices: what are Samsung’s intentions?
Looking at prices in dollars, there have been no changes in the last 3 years. Samsung’s market strategy has always been linear, at least in the US. The S23 range has recorded a significant increase in Europe for example, so the indications for a further increase in prices all lead to the American territory.
Clearly all the aspects discussed are the result of the many rumors that are making the rounds on the web, so surprises could be just around the corner.
