However, this is nothing different than what the app has always done. In fact, users who listen to free music from Spotify have not been able to skip more than that for years 6 songs in a row for example. The idea of the platform should be more or less the same, that is to limit the use of texts to a well-defined number.
This choice might seem like a smart move in terms of earning money for Spotify, but many users find that using the free version of the app is becoming a bit inconvenient.
