The announcements of the Chinese brand Meizu continue which, after having unlined some curious true wireless earphones, this time has launched the portable console, with Windows, PANDAER x AYANEO.

A short time after the last, suggestive, announcement, the Chinese brand Meizu amazed again in terms of presentations, putting on the plate its first console (Windows based), known as Meizu PANDAER x AYANEO, always made with illustrations of the artist PANDAER, and – in terms of technical know-how – with the expert in the sector, AYANEO.
Similar in design to the rivals Steam Deck and Nintendo Switch, the Meizu PANDAER x AYANEO portable console (224 x 89.5 x 28/18 mm, for 410 grams) features both in front and behind the characteristic illustrations of PANDAER already used in the past, with a ‘ further splash of aesthetic charm represented by the RGB LEDs placed on the analog controls, present together with the characteristic push button panel typical of this kind of handheld console.
In the middle, the PANDAER x AYANEO console uses a 5.5-inch OLED panel, resolved at 1920 x 1080 pixels, then in FullHD: the audio section relies on the 3.5 mm mini-jack and two speakers for a stereo sound. The device is moved by the processor (or rather the APU) AMD Ryzen 5 5560U, a hexacore (from 2.3 to 4 GHZ in Max Boost Clock) with 12 threads, credited with a TDP from 5 to 15W, with integrated Zen 3 microarchitecture with a Radeon RX Vega 6 iGPU, equipped with 6 CUs (compute units) of 1,600 MHz.
In terms of memories, there are 16 GB of dual-channel RAM (LPDDR4X from 4,266 MHz), while the SSD storage reaches 512 GB: according to what emerged, it is possible to expand both the RAM and, in the latter case with SD cards and M.2 slot, storage. To support the entire processing sector seen so far of the PANDAER x AYANEO console, an internal fan intervenes, with a vent on the back.
Also equipped with two USB Type-C ports, one of which for recharging the 7,350 mAh maxi battery (equivalent to 28 Wh), the PANDAER x AYANEO console, in crowdfunding on the brand’s official store at a price of 3,999 yuan (about 573 euros ), includes a modem for Bluetooth 5.2 and Wi-Fi 6 connectivity and, in addition, is able to connect to a TV or an external monitor, delivering images in 4K @ 60Hz.
