WhatsApp channels are a new WhatsApp tool designed for the dissemination of updates and news. This is a feature that has been launched in over 150 countries and which offers users a new way to follow what interests them most while being able to count on a high level of confidentiality and privacy protection.
The channels are present in a section separate from the chatswhich is located in Updates, and no one will be able to know which ones are followed by the user. Your personal information remains protected and cannot be viewed by other users who are subscribed to the same channel.
They are a one-way tool. Only administrators forward content to the channels, who can send texts, images, videos and stickers or carry out surveys. If you want to find specific channels click on the button (+) come on Find channels or press the button Find channels located below the list of suggestions. Enter the channel name or a keyword in the search bar.

4. How to follow a WhatsApp channel with an Android device

To find a specific channel click on the magnifying glass icon and enter the name of the channel in the search bar. Once you have identified the one you want to follow, click on the button (+).
Searching for channels can be simplified by using the filters present: Most active, Popular, New and Europe (or other country).

5. How to follow a WhatsApp channel from WhatsApp Web
Channels can be found and followed through WhatsApp Web. Connect to the platform’s official website and connect your account by following the appropriate procedure.
At the top left of the screen, click the icon Channels. click on (+) come on Find Channels about are Show all or on the button Find Channels present under the suggestions. Enter the name of the channel you want to subscribe to in the search bar and press enter. Once you find the one you want, click the button (+).
You can identify interesting channels to follow using the filters on WhatsApp Web: Most Active, Popular, New and by country.
