WhatsApp, as well as all the others under Meta’s management, has reported several updates in recent years, all very similar to each other. The desire to standardize all four platforms was in fact clear right from the start. Today WhatsApp, Messenger, Instagram and Facebook share a lot of functionality and also the design of the user interface, representing a real army.
There is no collective of such important and high-performance social apps out there and there is no doubt about that. To date, the same strategy seems to affect one aspect in particular, namely the States of WhatsApp. The queen application of the messaging world would be about to borrow a new element of the Instagram interface.
WhatsApp like Instagram in replies to status updates, there is a bar
To date, to react to a WhatsApp status update, it is necessary scroll up. You can then write a complete message or simply react using an emoji. A screenshot regarding the new response bar right below the status updates of the famous green colored application. In the image you can see how the messaging platform is practically the same as Instagram in that aspect.
Inside the version beta 2.2.26.3 per Android users are already testing the change, which therefore includes a new response bar displayed at the bottom of the screen. Scrolling up is then replaced by a bar within which you can write directly. The same change would also be available for users of iOS.
Most likely the reaction via emoji can be done simply by touching the new bar, exactly like on Instagram. In fact, the cute little faces will come out at the first touch. This is therefore yet another step taken by Meta to standardize her main platforms. According to what has been reported, the change should arrive permanently by the end of 2023.
