Windows 11: all the main new features arriving in 2024

2024 promises to be a year full of news for Windows 11 and its users. Apparently, in fact, Microsoft intends to introduce several features intended to win the hearts of those who rely on this operating system.

We are talking about a series of implementations in development which, at least in part, may never see the light of day. In fact, Microsoft developers often test these additions and then decide whether to make them public or not. In fact, however, these are concrete projects that we will be able to see on our screens later this year. But what are we talking about?

The integration ofArtificial intelligence with the Block notes seems like one of the priorities for the developers.

The tool provided by Windows, essential in nature, will be expanded with a function known as CoWriter. This will offer a drop-down menu with options that allow you to give the AI freedom of action by setting length, application, Format and other parameters to generate or edit text.

There is also talk of the introduction of a button Replacewhich should allow you to interact with the text, again through AI, selectively and not on the entire content.

The new Notepad, while interesting, is only the first of potential introductions.

Support for the standard may also arrive in future Windows 11 updates USB 80 Gbps. This will initially be available on select devices such as Razer Blade 18 processor-based Intel Core of the fourteenth generation series HX. From this point of view, the Windows Insider program seems to have given clear signals regarding a future implementation.

Simply put, this update of the standard USB4 it will double the performance 40Gbps to 80Gbpspaving the way for an era of high-performance connectivity.

Another upcoming innovation could be the activation of Copilot when starting Windows 11. In this sense, the first tests are already being implemented by Microsoft.

Despite this, it should be taken into account that developers will not “force” users to use the virtual assistant. This, in fact, can be deactivated (by going to SettingsCustomizationCopilot).

There is also talk of the introduction of advanced sharing optionscon Edge (and other browsers) which will be able to take advantage of the Windows window to share URLs on other platforms, such as Gmail, WhatsApp and all the main social networks around.

Even though the year has just begun, some new features have already been presented to users.

The lock screen with widget meteo integrated, in this sense it is a clear example. In this sense, it is not certain that Windows 11 is refined with an even more convincing user experience.
