Microsoft is still engaged in the distribution of Windows 11 and all its new versions. Currently around the world only a third or so, are users who use the new release of the operating system of Redmond.

To date there are new useful information regarding the current OS: as reported by the next October 10 la first version will be set aside. There 21H2 in about three months it will no longer receive cumulative updates and will therefore no longer be able to count on the usual security patches. Updates to add new features will not be implemented either.

The road will therefore be paved for the release 22H2which will affect respectively Windows 11 Home, Pro, Pro for Workstations e Pro Education officially arrived online in October 2021. The version in question will be totally free for all those who already own the operating system. There will be several innovations inside, many of them arrived with the aim of remedying some problems.

There are several novelties that integrate this new version of Windows 11. Among these is the opportunity to add folders to the Start menu with a special option, the new mode nocturnal for Task Manager and Notepad, and the ability to drag a file onto an open app within the system tray. Do not forget also the possibility of having multiple tabs present in File Explorer.

There will therefore be several changes after Windows 11 updates stop for version 21H2. These will not be relevant to those who own Windows 10 22H2: This OS version will continue to receive support for at least the next two years. However, it should be remembered that, also in this case, there are no important updates regarding the functionality.

There are also rumors of the increasingly eminent arrival of an early test version of the update 23H2 per Windows 11.
