AirPods 2024, Apple will launch a non-Pro model with noise cancellation

When it comes to Apple, the discussion cannot only include iPhones since there are now so many devices in Cupertino. The company also works with great conviction on other projects regarding other accessories, such as earphones.

According to reports, Apple is planning to release two new models of AirPods during this 2024 to replace the second and third generation models. The rumors leaked through one of the most reliable analysts also suggest the arrival of a new variant entry-level of the famous headphones.

At the moment the data collected from the web speaks of a model numbered with the acronym B768(E) and another variant with the number B768(M). Both AirPods models are expected to go into production in May at factories owned by designated manufacturers GoerTek Inc. and Luxshare Precision Industry Co, and then hit the market in September and October, respectively.

Among Apple’s new AirPods here is a “non-Pro” model with active noise cancellation

The bomb has been dropped: Apple will see the arrival of two new AirPods models in 2024. These will have a new design and will fit users’ ears better. As for the charging cases, they will obviously be equipped with a port USB-C for charging which will definitively replace the Lightning port. This transition actually already happened on the Pro 2 model.

All the attention, however, rightfully shifts to the intermediate model, the one which, although not part of the “Pro” range, will include the active noise cancellation. It doesn’t end there: the case will include a feature “Find my earphones“, very useful for helping the owner of the AirPods find his lost headphones.

In short, 2024 promises to be a great one for Apple which, in addition to the new iPhones, is already thinking in a concrete way about surrounding accessories.
