QR Code Android function

Some experts from the Google world would have noticed an update by the giant regarding the barcode scanning API with the functionality of automatic zoom. In a nutshell, the camera will be able to zoom in if it detects a code to scan.

These APIs are contained within Android 13 and subsequent versions, so support for this feature should soon arrive for all those who have an updated smartphone.

Other sources say that traces of this feature would already be present within Google Play Services. Obviously it is not enabled by default as it is in the testing phase.

Operation is very simple: as soon as the QR code scanner detects the target, it will zoom. This will be done by the optical zoom hardware, if the phone has one. On the contrary, the zoom will still be carried out using the means available to the telephone.
