Apple AirTag but for Android devices? Here is the perfect accessory

One of the biggest advantages of the ecosystem Apple as compared to Google is the presence of a useful accessory such as theAirTag.

This is a device that allows you to locate devices of the same brand that have been lost. In the Android environment, however, similar and equally interesting solutions are apparently appearing on the market.

The latest and most convincing product in this context is proposed by Euphybrand below Ankerwhich intends to launch the ideal alternative to the Google operating system on the market.

Eufy’s proposals are actually two. We are talking about SmartTrack Linka small square-shaped key ring, and the SmartTrack Cardidentical in function but with the shape of a card, therefore easy to contain in a wallet.

AirTag, Anker offers a “double” alternative for Android

Both offer full support regarding Find my device by Google, a system that works by crowdsourcing the location of Android smartphones and tablets. All this by offering the user the exact location of the accessory on a map, even if the smartphone/table is offline.

According to what was stated by the manufacturers, both SmartTrack Link and SmartTrack Card will be available starting next June. As for prices, there are no official communications yet.

Despite this, according to the site’s estimates techradar.com they should settle at around 19.99 dollars for Link (just over 18 euros) and 29.99 dollars for the Card version (around 28 euros). In the meantime, it is good to remember that other companies besides Anker, like Chipolo e Pebblebeehave already launched themselves into this sector by offering valid alternatives.

Meanwhile, among Apple users, attention is focused on the future release of Air Tag 2. In this case, however, a longer wait is expected.
