Apple Vision Pro soon also in Europe, according to an expert

Available from February in the United States only, theApple Vision Pro has caught the attention of all technology enthusiasts. Several consumers, including Europens, left for the USA to immediately purchase one and embark on immersive experiences which, according to the Cupertino company, take both productivity and entertainment to the next level.

But speaking of expectations, there is one interesting indiscretion (if we want to define it that way) launched by one of the most reliable sources in the tech panorama. The analyst Ming Chi-Kuo strongly believes that the mixed reality headset will launch in other countries before WWDC24 in June. Among the next countries in which the Vision Pro will be purchasable there would be Australia, Canada, New Zealand, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Spain and… Europe!

How the first month of Apple Vision Pro went

Kuo also provided some information on the performance of the headset in this first month of availability. According to what the analyst knows, demand in the United States has suffered “a significant slowdown” but over the course of the year the units sold (USA only) will be around 200,000-250,000, more than what Apple initially hypothesized. That is, between 150,000 and 200,000 units.

Apple Vision Pro - Work

In recent weeks there has also been a lot of talk about returns (with related refunds) of the headset. According to the testimonies of some users, the device would be too heavy and after a few minutes of use it could lead to severe headaches and feelings of nausea. But is the magic really over? According to Kuo, the current return rate is less than 1%.

Overall, Kuo believes the Apple Vision Pro launch in the US went as expected (well, considering it’s a niche market), despite the number of early adopter exceeding expectations.
