Boxa service known for offering cloud storage, has announced an interesting collaboration with Microsoft which will lead to integration with the service OpenAI on Azure.
In this sense, the platform will be able to use dei Large Language Model (LLM) advanced, thus being able to take advantage of the best that theArtificial intelligence. All, obviously, without sacrificing the high standards of security and privacy that characterize Box.
This synergy will give life to an innovative service, already christened Box AI. Although in fact Microsoft can be considered a rival of this service, being the owner of OneDrivethe two companies have already collaborated in the past.

Here is Box AI: the new Box service with integration of Azure OpenAI and the Microsoft 365 ecosystem
In the announcement that accompanied the presentation of Box AI, the service appears to be built on a independent framework from the platform. This will allow it to connect not only with Azure OpenAI, but also with many other advanced LLMs.
Box AI is already available to users, promising to provide AI integration capable of supporting financial services companies, as well as law firms, insurers and other similar businesses.
Box AI, among other things, will also benefit from integration with the ecosystem Microsoft 365. In this sense we can mention Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams e Outlookwith a future integration planned regarding Microsoft Copilot.
Taking into account that Box already had several important customers in the aforementioned sectors, it appears easy how Box AI can tap into a user base already ready for the transition from classic cloud storage to that enriched by AI. The new cloud storage service is included in the plans Enterprise Plus of Box.
