If we used to share a Netflix account with friends and relatives, it is advisable to check the conditions, limits and active restrictions of the service
Netflix subscription sharing has always existed and is the most used method to save on the cost of the subscription itself; the cost is thus divided among even distant friends and relatives, who can thus exploit the limits imposed by the subscription itself for multiple viewing between multiple different devices (2 devices with the Standard subscription and 4 devices with the Premium subscription).
Netflix after years of tolerance of the phenomenon has decided to give a downturn to account sharingseen as one of the reasons why the company’s profits have not increased in the last period.
Compared to the past it is no longer possible easily share your Netflix subscription outside your home. In the following guide we will show you what mechanisms Netflix has put in place for counter the phenomenon of unauthorized sharing and what to do to bypass checks and use sharing.

1) Share Netflix with your household
For people who live in the same house you can share the subscription without problems (if there are multiple devices in thechosen subscription).
I device on which we will activate Netflix will be immediately associated with our household and, by keeping the same IP or network information, the company can effectively “control” that the subscription is associated with only one household.
When we leave the house and use Netflix from the mobile app, the problem does not exist, since sooner or later we will return home and connect to our Wi-Fi network; from the checks themselves carried out by Netflix and the verification system introduced the company succeeds if we move to another city, if we travel on vacation for an extended period of time or if we actually share the season ticket with other people.
2) Household verification system
If Netflix’s security systems reveal that an account uses a device that is not associated with your Netflix household or is used continuously from a location outside the household, the tedious verification procedure will start.
Netflix in this case sends a link to the email address or phone number associated with the primary account holder; the link contains a 4-digit verification code, which must be entered into the “suspicious” device within 15 minutes; if the code expires, we will have to request a new verification code from the device, thus slowing down any unauthorized use attempts.
Device verification may be required periodicallytherefore still making it very annoying to share accounts between friends and relatives (who may contact us to find out what the account unlock code is).
3) How to pass Netflix checks
The verification system introduced by Netflix is not infallible (just communicate the verification code when requested), but it adds an extra nuisance that wasn’t there before and which could lead to the request for codes at inopportune moments.
Currently the most effective method to pass Netflix checks is to configure a remote VPN connection to a single modemand the modem must be the one that manages the Netflix account for everyone.
We are not talking about the VPN services that hide IPbut high-end modems capable of providing an encrypted tunnel to any device outside our network, which will therefore be connected to the modem network even if it is miles away.

After installing the program, the account owner just has to start the application on any of his PCs (connected to the local network), click on Create networkchoose the name and password of the network and communicate it to friends or relatives.
Those who want to share Netflix account and bypass controls all they have to do is start Radmin VPN, press on Merge network, insert the credentials and connect; all will be connected to the same LAN network (even if through a virtual tunnel), making it difficult (but not impossible) for Netflix to recognize the sharing of the account.

Conclusions
Netflix’s anti-sharing system is an added pain that the company has introduced to limit the sharing of accounts between distant friends and relatives or in any case outside the family nucleus; doing so has effectively decreed the end for most of the services that they were selling cheap shares of Netflix.
The company’s control system is not infallible (for now) and can still be bypassed on PC without any particular problems with a simple free VPN tunnel.
