According to what was stated by Microsoft itself, the company is totally redesigning Copilotgiving it a cleaner and more elegant design.
Going more specifically, the platform’s home page will present a carousel which will show some examples of using the virtual assistant, complete with images to enhance its potential. According to the company itself, these changes should deliver creative ideas to the user who is preparing to interface with Copilot.
The restyling doesn’t just affect the desktop version given that, apparently, Copilot will also be renewed on mobile devices in a very similar way. The possibility to activate will also be introduced GPT-4 to get better results from interactions with the assistant, with the blue tick of the software becoming viola to highlight the change.
With Designer, AI image editing is even more effective
The innovations proposed by Microsoft do not stop at design, also affecting the AI image editing system.
A new feature, defined Designer, will allow users to make changes to already generated content. It will therefore be possible to act on specific aspects of an image, such as blur the backgroundfar highlight certain colors or add a specific filteralso selecting individual objects present on it.
After issuing the command, Copilot processes the result which, depending on the case, can be accepted or canceled. As for filters, the image editing tool offers eight presets, with ample margin of choice even for the most demanding users. In fact, we are talking about almost total control over the image generated by AI.
As it turns out, Designer will be one free tool for all users, even if they are subscribers of Copilot Pro they will be able to have access to exclusive tools.
The absence of costs, at least for the basic version, was not so obvious. In the case of integrating Copilot with OneDrivein fact, the user will have to pay the cost of a subscription to Copilot per Microsoft 365.
