Two days after the release of an important update for iPhone and iPad, with which Apple fixed a serious zero-day vulnerability actively exploited by cybercriminals, the US company officially released iOS 17 in its first public beta. Among the great features introduced with this update stands out Live Voicemail for calls. Thanks to it, users will be able to reduce the disturbance of spam calls by obtaining a real-time text transcript of what the interlocutor is saying even before answering. If you recognize the human nature of the person on the other end of the conversation, then you can receive the call with the dedicated button. In short, it is an additional measure of protection against scams and robocalls.

Another novelty concerns the interactive widget, designed to quickly interact with home automation devices or other applications, without the need to open them. Or again, the standby mode allows you to turn the iPhone into an alarm clock with iOS 17, simply by hooking the device to a horizontal charging stand.
