Last January, on the occasion of CES 2022, LG Electronics announced several OLED TVs: at the edition of the Star Wars Celebration currently underway in the town of Anaheim, California, one of the aforementioned TVs made its debut in a version, in limited edition, Star Wars themed.

To differentiate the standard model from the particular one, there are various aspects. It starts with turning on the TV, with brighter metal finishes and the Empire logo on the back, which will take place according to the typical breath of Darth Vader.

The operating system interface, within the OLED Gallery app, will present two sections, Conceptual Designs and Star Wars: Journey of Darth Vader: in the first section, through some images and the original storyboard will explain how Star Wars took shape while , in the second, there will be scenes and posters of the films. The Remote, with the logo behind it, has been redesigned to resemble the lightsaber of the saga, with a red light that resembles the weapon of the villain of the classic Star Wars saga.

According to the company, the Star Wars LG OLED evo TV will be sold only in 501 units with, inside the package, with the image of Dart Vader on the front, a numbered certificate of authenticity: the reason why it was decided to produce this customization in so few units and the number reflects the forces of the 501st Legion of the Galactic Empire, led by Dart Vader.

After the exhibition, until May 29, LG’s Star Wars themed smart OLED TV, certainly destined for a quick sold-out, will arrive on the market towards the end of the year, being able to be purchased in the USA on the lg.com website, at a price and according to modalities for the moment not yet communicated.
