According to what emerged from the investigations of Microsoft Security Research Center (MSRC), the Redmond giant’s corporate systems were subject to cyber attacks last November.

Behind the campaign that targeted Microsoft there was a group known as Midnight Blizzardclosely connected with the Russian governmentalready protagonists of an attack against theUE. Regarding the attack suffered, Microsoft commented confirming how it intends to act to raise current security standards, even at the cost of causing brief interruptions to existing processes. According to what was officially stated “This will likely cause some level of disruption as we adapt to this new reality, but this is a necessary step, and only the first of many we will take to embrace this philosophy“.
