In addition to the smartphones in the Galaxy S24 range, innovations related to artificial intelligence created in collaboration with Google were also revealed at Samsung’s Unpacked 2024 event. The most talked about one is Circle to searchwhich – as the name suggests – allows the user to circle anything visible on the screen to start a search.
The feature will initially be available only on five smartphones – the three in the Galaxy S24, Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro range – and will then also find space on other premium Android smartphones yet to be revealed. Circle to Search, according to the first hands-on, works really well and significantly reduces the steps required to carry out a search.

Its operation is also clarified through an example. If you come across an unknown board game (at a yard sale, for example) without a box or instructions, you can still get information. In addition to feeding Google Lens a photo of the object, you can ask questions like “What is this game and what are the rules?“.
Thanks to the super powers ofartificial intelligence, the answer will offer an overview that brings together all the relevant information taken from the web. In this way, it will be possible not only to discover the name of the game, but also its rules. There is also no shortage of various links from which to obtain more details regarding a particular topic.
