Taking a look at recent rumors, this very aspect had been one of the biggest secrets that the company had decided to keep. The hope now is that this functionality will not only be limited to the Chinese market but extended to the entire global market.

Other additions for the OnePlus 12 have also been confirmed, such as a sensor infrareda camera periscopica and the Rain Water Touch. This feature will be useful for using the touchscreen even if it is wet. This therefore suggests that the waterproofness will also be extended up to an IP67 or IP68 degree.

This will join the other technical characteristics that will include those of the display, a panel that will have 2K resolution and super brightness.
